Our 2026 Fall Acre75 Gathered Box featured a Cinnamon Bun Dessert Dip from Kim’s Cinnamon Bun Dessert Dip. Curl up with your favourite book, a warm drink, and all the comforting flavours of a freshly baked cinnamon bun – without the bun. Handmade in small batches, this dessert dip pairs perfectly with apples, pretzels, cookies, waffles, or even stirred into your morning coffee.
Meet Kim from Kim’s Cinnamon Bun Dessert Dip
Kim's favourite part about living in a small town is how friendly and helpful most people are. She recently moved back to the neighbourhood she grew up in, and when she left at 18, she never would have dreamed that one day she'd be looking out at the park where she, her sisters, and the rest of the neighbourhood kids used to play. 🏡
Watching people's reaction to tasting her product is Kims favourite part about running a small business. That look on their face when they really like it never gets old! She also loves the amazingly talented store owners, business people and makers she has met through her travels. When she is making her rounds delivering dip, she loves getting to talk to the owners, learn about their business and try their products. 🥰
Kim's Grandma Finnigan was from New Brunswick and had so many funny stories from her childhood. She would love to take a week (or two!) and travel to the East Coast, eat as many lobsters as she can get her hands on, see where her grandma and family lived, go for long hikes along the coast and experience that world famous East Coast hospitality. 🇨🇦
Besides being elbows deep in cinnamon and sugar, Kim is the Board Chair of her local women’s shelter. Rural shelters are chronically underfunded, despite providing essential services across large and often isolated communities. It is an honour and a privilege for her to serve alongside an incredible group of people who work to support strong, resilient women and their families. Giving back to the community she calls home is incredibly important to her. ❤️
