Our 2024 Holiday Acre75 Gathered Box included a Peppermint Artisanal Chocolate Bar that was handcrafted by Fine Chocolate by Ludwig. Using the finest ingredients, this 65% single-origin dark chocolate was infused with mint oil and featured notes of coffee, plum, and cinnamon.
Meet Lidwig From Fine Chocolate by LudwigLudwig was born in Germany where his family owned and operated a bakery & pastry business. His passion for baking began at an early age, leading him to apprenticeships in both the pastry industry at Garmisch-Partenkirchen Business School and the bakery trade in Landsberg.
In 1990, Ludwig moved to Canada, where he worked at the Chateau Laurier and later for the Governor General in 2000. During this time, he also taught cooking and baking throughout the region. Ultimately, Ludwig followed his long time passion by pursuing a career in making artisan high quality chocolate using his confectionary skills.
