Our 2025 Holiday Acre75 Gathered Box featured Maple Meringues from Cafiti. Handmade with their farm fresh eggs and sweetened with pure maple syrup, these meringues are perfect for sharing at holiday gatherings or savouring with a warm drink.
Meet Catherine from Cafiti
What Catherine loves most about living in a small town is the sense of community — everyone knows each other and looks out for one another. 🏡
Catherine made the choice to keep her business small which gives her the opportunity to get to know her customers better. She is also able to enjoy life with her family in a more simple and balanced way. ✨
If Catherine could travel anywhere in Canada, she would choose British Columbia, specifically Osoyoos. She describes it as the Californian version of Canada, with its stunning views, warm temperatures, wine, and fruit! 🇨🇦
Every year before Christmas, Catherine plans an event that raises money to buy books for all the children in her community. Each child in attendance receives a wrapped book and any extra books are donated to a local elementary school. So far, they’ve given over $30,000 worth of books to five schools. Around 600 people attend the event each year, making it a special day for all the children. 🥰
