Behind every Acre75 Gathered Box is a group of amazing small town makers with stories just as unique as their Canadian made products. Their creativity and passion are what make each box so special and we're excited to share their stories with you!
Our 2026 Spring Acre75 Gathered Box featured a Soothing Mint Chamomile Tea from The Newfoundland Tea Company This sweet and soothing tea blends chamomile with subtle fruit notes and a soft spearmint finish. A relaxing, caffeine-free blend perfect for winding down and drifting to sleep.

Meet Nicole from The Newfoundland Tea Company
Nicole's favourite part about living in a small town is the sense of belonging. There’s a slower pace of life that lets her build thoughtfully, and a closeness that makes every win feel shared. She loves walking into her shop and knowing the stories behind the faces. She also loves that when someone chooses her tea, it feels personal - it’s trust, not just a transaction. 🥰
Nicole's favourite part of owning a small business is the creativity and freedom that come with it. She gets to build something that reflects who she is, make decisions quickly, and change things up on a dime when needed. She also values the relationships. She still believes in doing business with a handshake and she likes knowing the people she works with. ✨
If Nicole could travel anywhere in Canada, she would go to Haida Gwaii, British Columbia. Her father spent months there for work in the 1960s and always said it was the most beautiful place he’d ever been. He talked about the people, the scenery, and the wildlife with such reverence that it stayed with her. They used to love road trips together and she'd give anything to take one more trip with him - to see the place he spoke of so often and to spread some of his ashes there. It would be a full-circle journey. Part adventure, part memory, and entirely about honouring him. 🇨🇦
Nicole supports the small town she lives in by shopping local, collaborating with other small businesses, and keeping dollars circulating within her community. As a company, she gives back wherever she can. She supports Meals to Give – Gander, a grassroots, community-led program helping those who need a little extra support. She's sponsored local events such as the Ronald McDonald House High Tea, as well as her local health foundation and other community fundraisers throughout the year. Nicole also runs an annual Christmas fundraiser in support of a local charity. It’s something she looks forward to every year - rallying the community, bringing people together, and directing that collective generosity where it’s needed most. ❤️
