Meet Josephine from Wild Kernel Co.
Josephine's favourite part of living in a small town is the quiet, the space, and the feeling that her family is exactly where they're meant to be. She loves knowing her neighbours, waving to every car that goes by and being able to recognize the sound of her husband’s vehicle as it comes down the road. She enjoys being far enough away from the city to truly slow down. 🏡 🥰
Her favourite part of running a small business is knowing that every bit of effort, long day, bag they pack and market they show up to actually means something. They built Wild Kernel Co. from the ground up, as a family, and there’s a real pride in watching it grow from a small town side hustle into something that reaches people all across the country. 🍿🍁
If Josephine could travel anywhere in Canada, she would love to experience the Calgary Stampede. The energy, the western culture, the people — it would be an unforgettable mix of tradition, grit, and celebration. There’s something really inspiring about seeing rural life and small town spirit celebrated on such a big stage and she'd love to experience that firsthand. 🇨🇦
