Our 2025 Spring Acre75 Gathered Box featured a box of Salted Caramels from Salted. At the heart of Killam, Alberta, Lynette, Kristy and Jill are stirring up sweet magic one small batch at a time. As a women-owned business fuelled by a love for sharing life’s indulgences, a knack for numbers, and a passion for baking, they craft irresistible salted caramels with a recipe as simple as it is delicious — just five pure ingredients, a sprinkle of love, and a dash of salt. Whether you’re savouring a quiet moment or celebrating something special, their creations are here to make life just a little sweeter.
Meet Lynette, Kristy and Jill from Salted.
Lynette is a mom of two girls, wife, and lover of the little moments in life (morning coffee being one of them). From the college Entrepreneurial classes back in the day, her sights were set on business ownership. Lynette takes the reins on all things marketing and combines it with her creative genes, curating the perfect Salted moments in life.
Kristy is a mom, farm wife, eternal optimist, and CPA. Spreadsheets, financial plans, and sarcasm are her forte. Kristy keeps 'Team Salted' dialled in on operations and strategic plans. She’s coffee obsessed with big ambition, enjoying a minimal-ish life with her husband and kids.
Jill is a mom of three girls, a farm wife and a teacher. She loves being busy! Hosting friends and organizing events are just a few of the things that make her the happiest. Jill is a master of making treats and is the sweet side of Salted. She perfected the salted caramel that will have you savouring every bite.
