Behind every Acre75 Gathered Box is a group of amazing small town makers with stories just as unique as their Canadian made products. Their creativity and passion are what make each box so special and we're excited to share their stories with you!
Our 2026 Fall Acre75 Gathered Box featured a Wooden Bookmark from CamyGirl Makery. Designed to hold your place between chapters, it's perfect for a season of slow mornings, cozy afternoons, and relaxing evenings.
Meet Camilla from CamyGirl Makery
Camilla's favourite part about living in a small town is the sense of community. She loves knowing her neighbours, recognizing familiar faces when she's out and about, and knowing that people genuinely look out for one another. Raising a family in this kind of environment is something she really values. 🏡
Her favourite part of owning a small business is seeing an idea in her head become a physical product. Camilla loves the creative process and the variety. There’s never really a typical day, and she's always working on something different. She especially loves that so many of the things she makes are custom orders connected to life’s celebrations and meaningful moments. Whether it’s a wedding, a new home, a milestone, or a special gift, knowing that something she made will be part of an important moment in someone’s life is very meaningful to her. ✨
If Camilla could travel anywhere in Canada, she would choose Nova Scotia. She is drawn to the combination of small town charm and being close to the ocean. She'd love to spend time exploring the little coastal communities, browsing local shops, trying local food, and just enjoying a slower pace of life. 🇨🇦
Supporting her community is really important to Camilla. She participates in local markets, fundraisers, and school events, and is fortunate to work with a number of local shops that carry her products. She also loves collaborating with other small businesses whenever she can and donating products or gifts to support local events and fundraisers. One of the best things about being a small business owner in a small town is being able to support and lift each other up. 🥰
