Behind every Acre75 Gathered Box is a group of amazing small town makers with stories just as unique as their Canadian made products. Their creativity and passion are what make each box so special and we're excited to share their stories with you!
Our 2026 Summer Acre75 Gathered Box featured a Boot Scoot'n Trail Mix from Cabin 5. Whether you're kicking up dust on a backroad or cozied up lakeside with your boots off, this mix is made for summer snacking. Toffee-coated pretzels, locally dried apples, peanuts, and pumpkin seeds create the perfect balance of sweet and salty.

Meet Steph from Cabin 5
Steph's favourite part about living in the Okanagan is how connected she is to the small towns around her. Each one has its own personality, but they’re all tied together by this shared sense of community and outdoor living. One day you’re grabbing coffee in one town, the next you’re hiking, visiting a farm, or supporting a local market in another. It feels like a network of small towns rather than just one place, and that’s where a lot of the beauty and adventure comes from. 🏡
Her favourite part of owning a small business is the storytelling and the impact behind it. Cabin 5 isn’t just about making snacks, it’s about connecting people to where their food comes from and who it supports. She sources ingredients from local farmers, and partners with organizations like the Lake Country Food Bank, which helps redistribute food to smaller communities across the Okanagan. What she loves most is how it all connects. Farmers, families, small towns. She gets to build those relationships in a real, meaningful way. ✨
If Steph could travel anywhere in Canada, she would choose Haida Gwaii. It feels like one of the last truly wild places in Canada, rich in culture, history, and untouched beauty. She's drawn to places that slow you down and make you pay attention, and she thinks being there would bring a different kind of perspective and inspiration. 🇨🇦
Supporting their community is at the heart of everything Cabin 5 does. For every bag sold, they donate a meal back to youth in their community, and in their first two years, they've now donated over 20,000 meals. Steph works closely with the food bank, supporting local farmers through their ingredients, and contributes to local shelters and school breakfast programs. Her ethos is simple: build something that connects people and helps her community grow stronger together. 🥰
